The Clone Wars Lunchables

Posted By Mike on August 27, 2008

Our friends in the Tenuto family sent over the following:

"We were wondering if there would be any food promotions of Clone Wars at grocery stores. Our answer was at Walmart today when we purchased Lunchables with Clone Wars packaging and four collectors cards. The website is now available!

May the lunch be with you!"

Thanks Tenutos!

UPDATE: More on The Clone Wars Lunchables from the Tenutos:

"Last week, while shopping at Walmart, we purchased the Clone Wars Lunchable packages that have the four different "Jedi Flip" trading cards. Now, there appears to be a second kind of Lunchables available for the Clone Wars with miniposters. There are three posters on the back of the Lunchable box which form one bigger image. Here is the ObiWan poster."

Thanks again Tenutos!

UPDATE #2: Got yet more on the Star Wars lunchables from John E.:

"There is a 3rd wave of Star Wars Lunchables coming out later this fall. Its got a game on the back that lets you build your clone and droid armies by cutting out and folding stratego-like pieces. Each box comes with a unique hero and villian (4 of each total) and 3 army builders. The whole game engine is based on rock-paper-scissors so really young kids can play. Each pack continues to have value even after kids have collected all 4 since there are still 6 non-unique troopers on each box. Its also totally scalable - so a 100vs100 piece game is completely playable. Oh and it all looks really cool. How do I know. I designed it. Street date is like the end of Sept."

Thanks John!
